The most important target group consists of newly qualified and experienced language teachers. They may be employed in state institutions, private language schools or may work as private tutors. Their ICT competence must be discernible but it may be fairly basic.

It is expected that on completion of the curricula the teachers will be able to critically and effectively implement new technologies in their own language teaching situation. Moreover, they will receive internationally recognised certificates, which will improve their positions in the European labour market for educators.

 A second target group consists of teaching staff at the participating institutions who will be trained to train teachers in the implementation of new technologies in language teaching. The teaching staff will acquire on the one hand the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver the modules, on the other hand  ICT skills and experience with the implementation of ICT in language teaching.
